Prepare the home where buyers notice
Begin with a tidy, well-lit home and a clear path through each room. Take care of simple maintenance, reduce visual clutter, and make the entrance welcoming. Before investing in renovations, compare the likely cost with what buyers in your price range actually value.
Gather useful documents
Collect any available floor plans, renovation and appliance records, warranties, utility information, and property documents. If you own a strata home, gather the records you have and ask your REALTOR® what additional documents may be relevant for a sale.
